In December last yearly was obtained in the automobile industry of Brazil a historical sales record.
Altogether more than 204,000 vehicles were sold, the old record was stopped by 189.000 vehicles from October 1997. The data come from the Anfavea (Associação Nacional DOS Fabricantes de Veículos Automotores).

In the last year altogether 1.928.000 vehicles were sold, this correspond only 2,200 vehicles less as in the year 1997 than the automobile industry vehicles sold with 1.93 million one record year obtained.
Compared with 2005 (1.71 million) the sales rose around 12,4%.
